Review from Jens Mügge — founder of Overtone Music Network (www.overtone.cc):
Aksenty Beskrovny album Overovertones lets the listener delve into a world of sound — by Jaw harps in various keys alone.
Like beads on a mala, the individual pieces follow one another seamlessly - the listener is being carried along by an impressive playing of the Vargan — invited to take part in a seemingly unending journey of sound.
A fantasy voyage through the cosmos manifests as the audience lets himself go in the sounds and rhythms and forgets time and space, in fact everything, around him. It is the very fine tones that Aksenty magically teases from his Jaw harps, not unlike a wizard, a shaman. These affect on various levels and unleash a special healing power for the listener.
Truly a very successful project — the album Overovertones by Aksenty Beskrovny. May it reach many people and allow them to escape the noise of daily life and allow them to remain a while in this oasis of fine sounds and overtones.
